We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Applications Operations Expert to lead the support of our B2C-facing fintech applications. This role is critical to ensuring continuous system availability, vendor performance, and issue resolution for platforms serving large consumer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for vendor management, technical oversight, and driving service excellence across production environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage daily support operations for fintech applications, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Own high-impact incidents end-to-end, driving resolution and root cause analysis across teams.
- Proactively monitor applications and infrastructure to anticipate and prevent issues.
- Ensure consistent and timely follow-ups on all open issues; elevate when necessary to maintain momentum.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to track, manage, and enforce SLA commitments.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance application reliability and user experience.
- Deliver regular status reports, incident summaries, and system health updates to leadership.
- Maintain documentation of processes, runbooks, and incident workflows.
- Mentor and guide the application support team, promoting best practices and accountability.
Technical Expertise :
Strong understanding of modern application architectures (microservices, APIs, cloud-based platforms).Ability to investigate complex application issues with multiple teams to find root cause of the issues.Hands‑on experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management toolsWorking knowledge of databases, integration protocols and application security principles.Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.10+ years of experience in IT application support or production operations, preferably in fintech or high-volume fintech environments. Experience in Telecom Application operation would also be of great value.Proven experience in vendor management, SLA tracking, and stakeholder communication.Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and leadership skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities across technical and business stakeholders.Seniority level
