Job Description

• Verify shipping and customs documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, SASO / SABER, HS Codes, etc.).
• Authorize the broker for import and export at the borders through FASAH systems and SABER issues.
• Manage duty / tax payments and clearance fees in coordination with finance.
• Ensure timely clearance to avoid demurrage and storage charges.
• Stay updated with Saudi import laws, HS codes, VAT / GST rules, and customs duty structures.
• Ensure compliance with GAC (ZATCA) and other government authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of all import & export transactions for audit purposes.
• Work closely with procurement, supply chain, and warehouse teams to align on inbound planning.
• Support business units by providing landed cost analysis and duty impact.
• Manage escalations with customs authorities and support problem resolution.
• Provide weekly / monthly reports on clearance timelines, costs, and exceptions.
• Identify process bottlenecks and propose cost / time‑saving initiatives.
• Support digital transformation and system automation for customs processes.
