Job description

Overview

  • Provides expert-level support for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure within a client's environment.
  • Troubleshoots complex infrastructure issues, optimizes performance, and provides guidance on best practices.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve complex GCP infrastructure incidents.
  • Monitor and maintain the client's GCP environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Implement and manage GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and networking components.
  • Provide proactive guidance on GCP architecture, security, and cost optimization.
  • Document troubleshooting procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Google Cloud support and engineering teams.

    • Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP infrastructure services.
  • Expertise in Linux / Windows server administration.
  • Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • GCP certifications are highly desired.

    • Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience with automation and scripting.
