The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of technology projects to ensure their completion within designated timelines and budgets while achieving both technical and strategic project goals. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle from planning to closure, preparing comprehensive project plans that clearly define scope, schedule, and required resources. The IT Project Manager will coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and met. Regular progress monitoring and preparation of status reports will be essential components of this role, as well as risk analysis and the development of appropriate response plans. The IT Project Manager will supervise user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment phases, manage technical contracts, and maintain communication with suppliers while meticulously documenting all project phases.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Project Management.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in managing technology projects.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Scrum).
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proven ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and managing project documentation at each phase.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
- Ability to manage and supervise user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment processes.
- Experience negotiating and managing contracts with technology vendors.
