Production Material Control Engineer

Job Purpose Manages and monitors material flow and inventory in production operations to ensure timely availability, cost efficiency, and alignment with production schedules across ready-mix, asphalt, and aggregate plants.

Principal Accountabilities

Plan, monitor, and control the supply and utilization of raw materials.

Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Equipment Operations teams to ensure material availability.

Track inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and prevent shortages or overstocking.

Analyze material consumption trends and recommend actions to reduce waste and cost.

Prepare reports on material usage, inventory status, and production support.

Allocate raw materials to appropriate locations based on specifications and quality.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards in material handling.

Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate material and inventory records.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Knowledge of inventory management, material planning, and production operations.

Years of Experience

3–5 years of experience in production material control, inventory management, or related roles within industrial or manufacturing environments.
