Overview

Unilever is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to manage the inventory of raw and packaging materials and finished goods across KSA warehouses, MLP in Jeddah, and Maersk RYD warehouse through proactive communication. The role involves working with supply chain partners inside and outside the warehouses (Supply Planning, Production, 3PL, Finance, Safety, Quality, Customer Service & Customer Experience) to ensure agility and responsiveness, with a focus on cost optimization. You will oversee Maersk logistics park & RYD warehousing operations, including logistics distribution cost governance, and lead logistics inventory excellence initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and reviewing inventory KPIs, building team capabilities, and delivering business waste reduction through lean inventory management. Overseeing Inventory Management : Ensure accurate and efficient inventory control, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and products across MLP and RYD. Supervising Staff : Manage and lead a team of inventory 3PL and warehouse staff, providing training and guidance as needed. Maintaining Inventory Records : Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, including stock levels, shipments, and returns across all sites. Conducting Audits : Perform regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies. Implementing Procedures : Develop and enforce inventory management procedures and policies to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Coordinating with Other Departments : Work closely with purchasing, production, and sales departments to ensure inventory levels meet business needs. Monitoring Inventory Levels : Track inventory levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Handling Discrepancies : Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues promptly. Stock Count Management : Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile physical, 3PL, and UL system stocks to ensure accuracy. Reconciliation Reporting : Generate and analyse inventory reconciliation reports to provide insights and support decision-making on a weekly level. Ensuring Compliance : Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in inventory management. What You Need To Succeed

Experiences & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, or a relevant field. 0 – 2 years of experience in key account management within the FMCG industry. Skills
