Job Summary
The Costing Engineer will be responsible for analyzing project costs, developing cost estimates, and providing cost management support throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can collaborate with various teams to ensure financial objectives are met while maintaining project quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates for projects
- Analyze and report on project costs to identify trends and variances
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for cost estimation
- Prepare detailed cost reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Monitor and control project budgets to ensure financial targets are achieved
- Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of contracts and subcontractor agreements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cost management processes.
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in cost engineering or a related fieldStrong understanding of cost estimation techniques and toolsProven experience in budget management and financial analysis.Preferred Qualifications
