We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer – Technical Architecture to oversee the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive technical solutions across complex projects. The ideal candidate will provide strategic technical direction, lead cross-functional design efforts, and ensure that engineering and architectural standards are met to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and scalable infrastructure or systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the development and implementation of technical architecture frameworks and engineering strategies across projects.
Translate business, functional, and technical requirements into well-architected and integrated solutions.
Oversee architectural design reviews and ensure alignment with project objectives, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to optimize design and performance.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
Ensure integration between different engineering disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, etc.) for cohesive project delivery.
Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Identify and resolve technical issues and design challenges early in the project lifecycle.
Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies related to technical architecture.
Maintain documentation of architectural decisions and technical specifications.
Support procurement and subcontracting processes by providing technical input and reviewing deliverables.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in engineering design and architecture.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant discipline); Master’s degree preferred.
Professional Engineering (PE) license or chartered status is an advantage.
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering design and technical architecture roles.
Proven experience in leading technical teams and large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Proficient in using engineering software and BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, STAAD, etc.).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, leadership, and project management capabilities.
