Job Purpose Responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement strategy, planning, and performance frameworks across the organization. This role ensures alignment between procurement activities and corporate objectives, focusing on strategic sourcing, category management, and spend optimization. The Senior Manager oversees the formulation of procurement plans, policies, and governance frameworks to enhance efficiency, compliance, and value delivery. Additionally, this role provides strategic insights through spend analysis, market intelligence, and performance reporting, while driving collaboration with internal stakeholders and enabling informed, data‑driven procurement decisions.
Procurement Strategy and Governance
Lead the development and implementation of the organization’s procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and business priorities.
Establish and maintain procurement governance frameworks, policies, and controls to ensure transparency, compliance, and consistency across all procurement activities.
Procurement Planning and Performance
Oversee the preparation of annual procurement plans and sourcing roadmaps in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Monitor procurement performance metrics and spend analytics to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
Category Management and Market Intelligence
Conduct market analysis and category assessments to support data‑driven sourcing decisions.
Develop category strategies that drive long‑term value, supplier innovation, and risk reduction.
Policy and Process Optimization
Review and enhance procurement processes, ensuring alignment with international best practices and regulatory requirements.
Drive standardization and automation initiatives across procurement functions to improve operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
Collaborate with business units, finance, and legal teams to align procurement plans and strategies with organizational needs.
Serve as a key liaison between procurement leadership and internal departments to ensure clear communication and alignment of priorities.
Reporting and Insights
Provide executive management with strategic reports and dashboards reflecting procurement performance, market trends, and opportunities.
Ensure timely and accurate analysis of procurement data to support strategic decision‑making.
Team Leadership and Capability Building
Lead and mentor the Procurement Strategy & Planning team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Implement professional development plans to strengthen team capabilities and succession readiness.
