Job Description & Summary
The treasury specialist is responsible for managing daily treasury operations, including debt management, intercompany funding, and bank guarantees.
Key duties include monitoring and reporting on covenants, ensuring transaction accuracy, supporting audits, optimizing working capital, and enhancing cash flow forecasting. The role involves managing cash positions, short-term investments, FX deals, bank accounts, and payment systems.
The treasury specialist also handles bank guarantees, reconciliations, and administrative tasks assigned by the head of treasury.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage daily treasury operations such as bank accounts, mandates, online banking, and KYC reviews.
- Participate in debt issuance and manage existing debt.
- Oversee intercompany funding and ME bank guarantees, including retrieval and reporting.
- Monitor and report on covenants and undertakings regularly.
- Coordinate with accounting and internal audit to ensure transaction accuracy and audit trail integrity.
- Support external audit requirements related to treasury activities.
- Assist the ME Treasurer with special projects as needed.
- Review the ME financial position, considering upcoming debt maturities, and advise on financing strategies.
- Manage cash positions and recommend short-term investments.
- Improve working capital and cash flow forecasting accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead development and implementation of Treasury Management Solutions (TMS) for the Middle East.
- Manage bank guarantees across all countries except KSA (issuance & retrieval).
- Administer ME banking and payment systems and controls.
- Execute FX deals and manage daily cash flow and regional funding needs.
- Maintain updated signatories in bank accounts according to Delegation Authority Matrix and monitor banking costs.
- Support treasury operations, including account management, mandates, online banking, and KYC reviews in KSA.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications & Skills :
