About the role As part of Mozn’s expanding legal function, the Legal Counsel will play a pivotal role in supporting commercial contracting, compliance, and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with vendors, technology partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure legal and regulatory alignment across international operations. This role is key to enabling Mozn’s growth in the GCC and North Africa while ensuring robust risk mitigation and IP protection frameworks are in place. What you'll do Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of a wide range of
commercial contracts
, including SaaS agreements, vendor partnerships, service contracts, NDAs, and data-sharing agreements. Provide legal counsel on
software licensing
IP protection
data privacy
, and
compliance
across jurisdictions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Procurement, Compliance) to align legal strategies with business goals. Serve as the legal point of contact for contract lifecycle management, including vendor onboarding and renewal negotiations. Ensure contract templates, terms, and clauses are kept up to date with evolving regulatory and commercial requirements. Support legal operations and regulatory readiness as part of Mozn’s regional expansion—particularly in Egypt and the UAE. Maintain internal documentation and provide training where needed to teams interacting with external parties. Assist with external counsel management, budget alignment, and risk assessments on high-stakes contracts. Qualifications Law degree from a recognized institution; license to practice in Egypt, UAE, or other relevant jurisdictions. 7–10 years of experience
as a Commercial Lawyer or Legal Counsel—preferably in
tech, SaaS, or enterprise software
