About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor - Civil to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in managing costs for civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the highest standards.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects
Analyse costs, value, and risks associated with tenders and contracts
Produce bills of quantities and other tender documents
Advise on procurement strategy and contractual matters
Monitor and report on project costs and budgets throughout the construction process
Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts
Negotiate and agree on interim and final accounts with clients and contractors
Analyse completed projects to improve future cost planning
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals in the construction industry
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree inCivil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering quantity surveying
Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Causeway)
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
In-depth knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods
Experience in cost estimation, cost control, and contract administration
Thorough understanding of civil engineering projects and construction processes
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Willingness to travel to project sites as required
