Job Description We are seeking a detail‑oriented and efficient Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance operations of our facilities, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of equipment and systems.
Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs
Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors
Help manage maintenance budgets and control expenses
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports for upper management
Participate in equipment procurement and upgrade decisions
Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate rapid resolutions
Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities
Assist in training and developing maintenance team members
Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management or related field
Proven experience in industrial or facilities maintenance
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
Proficiency in maintenance management systems and CMMS software
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
Strong leadership and team management abilitiesEffective communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance
Experience in budget management and cost control
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) preferred
Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed
