Job type / Contract : Contractual (Single Status). Start as soon as possible
Duration : 12 months (Extendable)
Hours / rotation : Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid). 10 hours per day (including 1 hour break)
Salary range : Excellent salary package with benefits.

Role purpose : Quality control inspector ensures the implementation of all quality procedures and standards for the appointed area / subcontractor and performs inspections to verify conformity to site inspection plans and applicable engineering documentation.
Duties and responsibilities
Ensure the implementation of all quality / HSE procedures and standards for areas or activities (subcontractors) in conjunction with the quality / HSE teams.Support the construction material controller in checking supplier material prior to the start of works.Address subcontractor activities for the discipline, ensuring plant construction works comply with engineering specifications, site procedures, site inspection plans, and subcontract terms.Verify subcontractor manpower complies with applicable procedures and quality levels.Check subcontractor equipment is adequate and calibrated as required.Ensure works performed by subcontractors comply with applicable documents, safety regulations, and quality levels, in coordination with quality / HSE teams.Inform the site engineer to implement necessary design changes when detected.Promote non-conformity draft and inform the construction quality manager, supporting nonconformity resolution.Keep the construction quality manager informed, handle inspection requests from subcontractors, and communicate with the client; take responsibility for remedial action in case of client rejection to avoid repetition.Operate as the QCI under the supervision of the construction quality manager.Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably within the construction or oil and gas industry.Relevant experience in 3 major EPC projects; oil & gas, petrochemical sector.Skills and Abilities
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail, management skills.Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal direction; strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.Seniority level
