Overview

Job Purpose / Objective : Design, develop or supervise the installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for HMG sites, or utility use.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Prepare the electrical design as per the architect drawings.
• Calculate the electrical load and select the equipment on the basis of electrical load calculation.
• Design the main distribution board and sub distribution board to feed the different biomedical equipment, lighting and power load.
• Coordinate with the architect to finalize space allocation for electrical equipment and panels.
• Prepare the design drawings and provide them to the contractor for reference.
• Coordinate with IT representative to allocate IT equipment.
• Coordinate with the Biomedical Department regarding their requirements to feed electrical supply for biomedical equipment.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities with the technical specification.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG and enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
