Job description

Qiddiya Investment Company are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to support the District Logistics Lead in managing logistics operations across a major waterfront development. The role requires hands-on oversight of daily logistics planning and execution, including traffic management, haul routes, and multi-stakeholder coordination within an active and evolving environment. The Senior Logistics Manager will play a key role in ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, supporting phased program delivery, and facilitating smooth handover of assets.

Responsibilities

  • Support the District Logistics Lead in delivering logistics strategy and masterplans for waterfront construction and infrastructure areas.
  • Oversee the implementation of daily logistics operations, including traffic management, haul routes, laydown / staging areas, and site access control.
  • Coordinate with contractors, project teams, and authorities to align logistics with program milestones and evolving site conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements for waterways, earthworks, and infrastructure interfaces.
  • Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to address logistics challenges, environmental sensitivities, and live site constraints.
  • Supervise logistics coordinators and contractors to ensure consistent delivery of logistics services.
  • Monitor progress and report logistics performance, risks, and issues to the District Lead.
  • Assist in operational readiness planning and phased handovers for completed waterfront assets.
  • Promote a safety- and environment-first culture in all logistics activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience in construction logistics, including large-scale infrastructure, waterfront, or mixed-use developments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in haul route and traffic management operations in constrained, live environments.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental compliance, safety standards, and permitting requirements for waterways and waterfront works.
  • Experience on giga / megaprojects, waterfront, or artificial waterway developments.
  • Professional certifications such as CILT, CIPS, CM-L (Construction Management Logistics), PMP, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with logistics planning software, BIM / digital twin integration, and environmental management systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder coordination with contractors, authorities, and operators.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
