About the Role We are seeking a visionary and strategic

Chief Innovation Officer (CINO)

to lead the organization’s innovation and business solutions portfolio. The role is responsible for shaping and executing forward-thinking digital initiatives that create real public value, in line with national priorities and emerging technology trends. This is a high-impact leadership position designed for individuals with a strong background in public sector transformation, innovation ecosystems, and solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the organization’s innovation and digital business solutions agenda, aligned with national digital transformation goals.

Set clear innovation strategies that support efficiency, transparency, and citizen-centric service design.

Translate strategic objectives into executable programs and measurable outcomes.

Act as a key advisor on innovation and digital solutions to executive stakeholders and partners.

Identify and develop opportunities for public sector innovation using emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, automation).

Oversee the design and deployment of scalable, secure digital solutions tailored to the needs of government entities.

Promote the development of integrated platforms and services that enhance government performance and data utilization.

Ensure solutions align with national frameworks, digital government policies, and regulatory requirements.

Foster strong collaboration between cross-functional teams, partners, and government stakeholders.

Build innovation partnerships with technology providers, regulatory bodies, and ecosystem players.

Represent the organization in innovation working groups, forums, and national transformation programs.

Execution & Impact

Lead agile, cross-disciplinary teams through the innovation lifecycle — from concept to delivery.

Establish and track KPIs to measure the impact, adoption, and sustainability of innovation initiatives.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decisions, and high-performance delivery.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or a related field. Master’s in Innovation, Strategy, or Digital Transformation is preferred.

Experience : Minimum 10 years in innovation leadership and digital transformation, including executive roles within

government entities or large institutions .

Proven success in delivering technology-enabled transformation programs with measurable public value.

Strong knowledge of public sector frameworks, digital government models, and enterprise architecture.

Practical experience with emerging technologies :

AI, IoT, process automation, data ecosystems .

High-level communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
