• Minimum 3-4 Years' Experience in Oil & Gas Field with similar experience
• First preference will be given if welder is carrying Aramco welder Approval card.
• Should have been qualified in accordance with ASME Sec.IX AWS D1.1 or Equivalent
• Should be having a valid qualification card
• Should be qualified in SMAW & GTAW
• Correct selection of electrodes &filler metals for CS. SS &alloy steels (Ex : E7018, E6010, ER308, ER316
• Joint preparation (beveling, root gap, cleaning
• Techniques for vertical, horizontal, overhead and 6G positions
• Should be able to read the WPS and follow the parameters provided in it
• Knowledge on consumables as given in WPS and their handling procedure
• Ensure proper cleaning of weld area before starting welding
• Should follow the weld sequence to avoid distortion of joint
• Rectifies defects identified by inspection personnel
• Ensures his ID is marked near the joint for traceability
• Liaise with QC to complete the required NDT
• Ensures proper cutting plan is made to minimize wastage

All candidates should have experience in ARAMCO Projects.
