    Industrial Complex, Riyadh

    The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

    Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

    The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

    Job Purpose

    Supervise and improve electrical design, assist a team, ensure compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement for high-quality product production. Involves basic technical support, project coordination, team collaboration, and a focus on achieving goals and industry standards.

    Key Accountability Areas

    Material Specifications and Documentation :

  • Ensure material specifications and related documents adhere to international or local standards.
  • Establish standardized designs and materials.
  • Supervise the documentation system to meet approved standards, conducting internal audits for compliance.
  • Design Analysis and Continuous Development :

  • Conduct analyses on competitor designs.
  • Supervise continuous development to achieve optimal designs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate market requirements and demand, aligning products with the current market situation through collaboration with the Marketing department.
  • Project Oversight and Customer Interaction :

  • Verify electrical drawings for critical projects to ensure conformity with customer or project specifications.
  • Engage with client teams, gather requirements, and conduct regular team meetings.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring that all electrical design and Bill of Materials (BOM) activities align with production plans and contribute to customer satisfaction.
  • Team Management and Training :

  • Foster team interaction, elevate employee motivation, and recognize team contributions.
  • Supervise technical training for the team, guiding them through development and implementation stages.
  • Conduct effective reviews of completed work to maintain quality standards.
  • Initiatives for Improvement :

  • Actively pursue initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the group.
  • Ensure that electrical design activities are geared towards increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Support and Market Evaluation :

  • Provide technical support for new project development.
  • Evaluate market requirements and demand, aligning products with current market situations.
  • Role Accountability

    HR Proficiency :

  • Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
  • Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.
  • Ability to treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.
  • Assessment criteria of subordinates is performance that leads to planned results.
  • Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix to have sufficient delegations as per company policy.

  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.

  • Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
  • Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.
  • Business Process Improvements :

  • Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
  • Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
  • Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.

    Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
