Job Title : Senior Expert of Risk Management

Location : Riyadh, KSA (willing to travel frequently)

Employer : Tech Company - AI Developer

Our client an AI Development company that is in Joined Venture with a Governmental Entity in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Senior Risk Expert to lead their Risk Management.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement a comprehensive risk management framework, including policies, methodologies, and tools, to support strategic objectives and organizational resilience.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on key risk exposures and mitigation strategies. Lead the development of risk appetite statements and ensure alignment with business goals.
Oversee risk assessments across financial, operational, and strategic functions. Monitor emerging risks and proactively embed risk-aware decision-making throughout the organization.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to foster a strong risk culture. Present complex risk information clearly and concisely to influence business and project-level decisions.
Drive continuous improvement in risk management practices and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in risk management, from corporate (client-side), consulting / professional services (vendor-side), or combined backgrounds.

Deep expertise in risk management methodologies, frameworks, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Proven track record of designing, implementing, and leading effective risk management programs and governance structures in dynamic and complex environments.

Strong strategic and operational leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and key stakeholders on key risk exposures and mitigation strategies.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication skills combined with strong business acumen.

Professional certifications such as CRM, FRM, or equivalent are preferred.
