As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for developing accurate sales forecasts, aligning demand with production, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales, operations, and supply chain teams. This role is critical in driving efficiency, supporting decision-making, and meeting customer needs. Key Accountabilities
Operate the DPW model to establish accurate forecasts based on historical sales data, promotional history, and competitor activity adjustments. Maintain accurate historical sales data, including annotations for specific ENTAJ activities, competitor actions, weather conditions, or logistical disruptions, in order to generate a smoothed and reliable forecast curve. Develop forecasts by channel, route, customer, and SKU, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all business segments. Continuously revise forecasts in line with actual sales performance across different lead horizons (13 weeks, 2 weeks, etc.). Collate final order adjustments by route across all regions and sales channels. Coordinate with sales teams to investigate and resolve deviations between actual orders and forecasted demand. Work closely with the Senior Manager Sales and Channel Managers to allocate products effectively, ensuring alignment between production capacity and sales forecast requirements. Maintain a comprehensive database of sales outlets within the assigned area to help Channel Managers monitor and optimize product reach. Conduct product mix planning to maximize sales potential. Prepare sales orders for production, factoring in capacity constraints and operational feasibility. Coordinate with production teams to align actual production figures (by product group) with forecasted requirements. Partner with Senior Manager Sales and Channel Managers to project and allocate available product types and quantities effectively. Provide periodic and ad-hoc reporting support to the Senior Manager Sales, ensuring timely and accurate insights for decision-making. Communication & Working Relationships
Internal : Collaborates with Senior Manager Sales, Channel Managers, and the Poultry Processing Plant to ensure effective sales order fulfilment. Collects and consolidates data from multiple internal sources to support accurate forecasting and planning. Decision Making
Decides the formats and the frequency of incoming data. Decides the release of forecasts to users and assimilates the feedback. What we’re looking for :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. 2–4 years of demand planning experience. Strong analytical and Excel / ERP skills. Proficiency in Arabic and English. Detailed knowledge of RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems). Detailed knowledge of Route accounting. Job Details
