Overview

The BIM Senior Manager – Design Engineering is responsible for overseeing the BIM software implementation and management across various projects, ensuring standardization of processes, coordination, and maintaining quality control. They develop effective strategies for BIM management, coordinate with internal and external project team members, and align with project schedules including critical and strategic milestones. The role facilitates digital project execution according to NEOM standards, guidelines, and practices, provides training and technical solutions, and ensures compliance with project goals and regulations. They work closely with NEOM sectors and stakeholders to manage the flow of project / BIM / digital information, supporting project timelines and formal instructions.

Key Accountabilities

Provide all necessary BIM support, including software, hardware, network, and troubleshooting.
Manage BIM implementation plan across the lifecycle of the project, ensuring outcomes aligned to project objectives.
Lead and support the use of digital technology within the project team.
Plan and oversee the execution of data management / BIM software activities to meet project-specific needs, in alignment with applicable standards.
Conduct strategic risk management for the area of responsibility.
Effectively manage resources, including allocation and procurement.
Report on the project state regarding BIM implementation, data management, project software needs, and workflow integration.

Experience

Over 15 years of experience in a BIM coordination / management role in design, engineering, and construction.

GCC experience preferred.

Design and engineering experience.

Project management experience.

Essential Skills

Proven track record of leading BIM management for major contractor, consultant, and / or developer delivering significant work.

Proficiency with BIM software, including Revit, Rhino, and other industry tools.

Analytical, logical, and interpersonal problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong leadership, team interfacing, and presentation skills across project lifecycle stages.

Ability to motivate, educate, and manage team members.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of developing concept strategies, programs, and business cases for large building projects.

Ability to work in high‑pressure environments.

Capacity to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions for successful project execution.

Extensive knowledge of 3D modeling, cloud collaboration, clash detection, parametric modeling, and presentation skills.
