Responsible for overseeing the project planning processes and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within defined budgets and schedules. Works closely with project managers to monitor progress, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement of project planning practices.

- Implement Project Planning Procedures
- Maintain project control policies, processes, and standards.
- Oversee the preparation of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and baseline schedules.
- Coordinate with the site team to optimize resource utilization and alignment with budgeted figures.
- Coordinate and Collaborate with Project Stakeholders
- Actively participate in coordination meetings with the client, consultant, project team, and subcontractors.
- Conduct periodic site visits to verify actual progress against the approved baseline.
- Contribute to the preparation of project prolongation and disruption claims.
- Monitor and Manage Project Performance
- Closely monitor schedule variances, and initiate necessary change orders, variations, and claims.
- Ensure project planning reporting documents accurately reflect schedule, procurement, and risk status.
- Prepare cash flow and resource plan curves and charts for the entire project duration.
- Provide Project Planning Expertise and Support
- Understand the different project planning procedures and interfaces for all disciplines.
- Support schedule review meetings and revise schedules accordingly.
- Track and report on resource utilization and project progress on a weekly basis.
- Continuous Improvement and Professional Development
- Identify opportunities to enhance project control capabilities and drive innovation.
- Recommend training and professional development for the project planning team.
- Participate in any time claim or disruption prolongation claims.
- Participate in project planning-related reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
