Now, we’re expanding our presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and are looking for a Field Service and Application Support Manager.

Position Description

Fireye is looking for a Field Service and Application Support Manager for the MENA region. This is a hands‑on technical role responsible for the installation, commissioning, and field support of Fireye combustion control products within the region. The position involves close internal collaboration with Key Account Managers, Product Managers, Engineers to provide first‑class service, technical support, and training to end users, contractors, OEMs, and distributors. A key objective is to expand Fireye’s field service capabilities and enhance customer satisfaction. This role is remote, with an expected travel commitment of up to 50% within the assigned region, and occasional international travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and execute the installation and commissioning of Fireye products (e.g., Flame Scanners, Pilot Igniters, Burner Controls).
  • Provide detailed field service reports and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support product troubleshooting and report issues or deficiencies.
  • Recommend product enhancements and new development ideas.
  • Deliver technical support to end users, contractors, distributors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders across the region.
  • Identify training needs and deliver product training sessions for partners and clients.
  • Assist in product launches and promotional activities in the region.
  • Work directly with international OEMs to identify project opportunities.
  • Monitor and support sub‑contractors and package vendors using Fireye solutions.
  • Actively engage with customers to drive sales and support.
  • Build and maintain a customer database for ongoing field service and after‑sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of field service experience, ideally in Power Generation, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Process industries.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of combustion control systems and instrumentation.
  • Basic knowledge of system integration or BMS / PLC / DCS environments is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety standards, especially for M&E installations.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create service reports, technical proposals, and quotations.
  • Arabic and English language proficiency. Additional languages such as French, German, or Italian are advantageous.
  • Based in the Middle East.
  • Willingness to travel within the region (~50%).
