Overview

Painter / Polisher role at Shangri-La Group – Shangri-La Jeddah. The Painter is responsible for maintaining and keeping the building and furniture in proper condition by regularly repainting and varnishing according to specifications. Responsibilities

Assesses area to be worked on for choice of colour, and type of paint / shellac. Determines type of paint work to quantify amount of paint / varnish to be used. Chooses appropriate colour of paint / varnish to blend with background or as instructed. Determines if special treatment is required in surface to be painted. Ensures that relevant departments are aware of work by informing departments concerned when work is to start and when expected to be completed (e.g., Front Office) and when to release them. Ensures that safety & health procedures are adhered to at all times. Qualifications
