Position Overview

The Director Specialist Advisory - Retail will lead JLLs retail advisory services across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia providing strategic counsel to clients on retail real estate matters including leasing investment development and market strategy. This senior leadership role requires deep expertise in the KSA retail market and the ability to drive business growth while managing complex client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the retail advisory practice in KSA developing and executing strategic business plans
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities across various retail segments
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders developers investors and retail brands
  • Provide thought leadership and market intelligence to clients and internal teams

Client Advisory Services

  • Advise clients on retail real estate strategy market entry expansion and optimization
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and feasibility studies
  • Lead tenant representation and landlord representation mandates
  • Provide investment advisory services for retail assets
  • Support retail development projects from conception to completion

    • Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and existing client expansion
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and pitches
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to leverage JLLs platform

    • Team Management

  • Build lead and mentor a high-performing retail advisory team
  • Foster a culture of excellence collaboration and continuous learning
  • Oversee team performance development and career progression
  • Ensure quality delivery of all client engagements

    • Experience & Background

  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in retail real estate with at least 5 years in KSA market
  • Proven track record in senior advisory roles within retail real estate
  • Experience across multiple retail formats (shopping centers high street mixed-use outlet centers)
  • Strong understanding of retail operations consumer behavior and market dynamics

    • Education & Certifications

  • Bachelors degree in Real Estate Business Administration Finance or related field
  • Masters degree or professional certifications (RICS CCIM) preferred
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken)

  • Deep knowledge of KSA retail market regulations and cultural nuances

    Based in Riyadh KSA with regular travel across the Kingdom
