The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in reviewing, assessing, and processing permit applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and requirements. The role requires a deep understanding of the Balady system and municipal permitting processes, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate permit applications submitted through the Balady Platform, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations and local codes.

Provide feedback to applicants, identify missing or insufficient documentation, and guide them through required modifications.

Collaborate closely with other departments, such as planning, zoning, and public safety, to assess the suitability and compliance of permit requests.

Maintain records of applications and decisions, ensuring all information is accurately documented in compliance with local regulations.

Stay updated on changes to municipal codes, regulations, and procedures related to permitting.

Conduct follow-ups as necessary to ensure all conditions of permits are met and documented.

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in permit reviewing or a similar role, ideally within a municipal or government context.

Proficiency in the Balady Platform is a must.

Strong understanding of local codes, municipal regulations, and permitting processes.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-service-oriented approach.

Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple applications and tasks efficiently.
