Mechanical Engineer-maintenance

About the Role We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Maintenance Department. The role involves supervising, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical systems—especially diesel generators, engines, and auxiliary systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on generators and equipment.

Diagnose failures and implement effective solutions.

Supervise technicians and ensure maintenance efficiency.

Plan and monitor maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.

Maintain maintenance and spare parts records.

Coordinate with other departments for integrated maintenance.

Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience in generator or heavy equipment maintenance.

Strong understanding of diesel engines, fuel systems, and mechanical assemblies.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Ability to read mechanical drawings.

Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
