Responsibilities

You will architect and execute the end-to-end network strategy that underpins our data-center portfolio. The role spans evaluation frameworks, commercial negotiations, policy / regulatory advocacy, carrier-neutral partnering, subsea / CLS integration and leasing / managing of CLS capacity, metro DC-to-DC interconnects, and hyperscaler-aligned solutions - including AI campus connectivity and competitive cost structures across terrestrial and subsea domains.

• Define the standardized connectivity due-diligence framework and site scorecards (long-haul routes, latency, path diversity, IXP proximity, spectrum / IRU options, CLS access, dark vs. lit economics).
• Work with investments and finance teams to develop TCO models and sensitivity analyses linking network choices to project economics (e.g., metro ring topology, cross-connect pricing, backhaul options, carrier-hotel access).
• Advise the management, Board and Board appointed committees on connectivity-linked risks, mitigations, and value-creation levers.
• Secure globally benchmarked interconnect pricing, enabling direct negotiations with subsea cable consortia / providers (IRUs, capacity leases, spectrum).
• Ensure carrier neutrality and competitive choice for local and inter-regional routes; set SLAs / OLAs and interconnect governance for multi-carrier environments.
• Partner with stakeholder / BD / government-relations teams to shape policy reforms that enable neutral, affordable, and open access (e.g., MMR neutrality, cross-connect tariff rationalization, fair access to ducts, towers, and landing stations).
• Lead negotiations with carriers for neutral access, metro DC-to-DC waves, last-mile, and wholesale IP / transport; drive rate cards and framework agreements.
• Build tenant service packages (cross-connects, internet / IP transit, cloud on-ramps, private waves) at globally competitive price points.
