To lead and coordinate site planning activities for EPC Oil & Gas projects, ensuring alignment between construction execution and project controls. The Site Planner will act as a key interface between site operations, project controls, and central planning teams to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable planning data. Duties and responsibilities
Develop the Construction Schedule within the period established in the Project Schedule Prepare the standard man-hour estimates based on the design quantities and the established WBS Feed Schedule with estimated standard Manhours to obtain the Progress Curves and Manpower Histograms Ensure that the schedules developed by the Subcontractors, as per their contractual obligations, are in alignment with the Level 4 Construction Schedule Perform schedule control at the cut-off dates and provide a forecast on completion dates, especially if any adverse trends occur so that the recovery plan can be effectively enforced Assess physical progress at the cut-off dates, noting evidence of deviations from the baseline and suggesting remedial actions, if any Perform manpower control by collecting time sheets from the Subcontractors and compare the actual manpower against the planned baseline Prepare the weekly / monthly Progress Reports related to Site activities in accordance with Project Procedures Collaborate with the central Project Controls team to ensure site planning data feeds into overall project performance metrics Track progress against baseline schedules and identify deviations, delays, and recovery strategies Support Earned Value Management (EVM) by providing accurate site progress data and forecasts Assist in resource loading and manpower histograms to support cost and schedule analysis Participate in risk reviews and mitigation planning from a site execution perspective Person Specifications
Knowledge & Qualifications
University Degree or Diploma in Civil discipline or equivalent Experience
Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or xl gas plants Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparable size A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience Experience working on the Contractor side Skills and Abilities
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Primavera P6 Attention to detail, management skill Team-oriented, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution Special Requirements and Comments
