Principal Structural Geologist to collaborate with the technical team to achieve exploration excellence. Responsible for maintaining and developing methodologies and SOPs, from core orientation quality control to detailed structural analysis. Ensure continued team development in geological understanding (mineralogy, structure, etc.) as well as training in modern exploration methods.
The Principal Structural Geologist is expected to solve geological problems through the interpretation of structural data to understand geological history and processes. They should conduct structural analysis to determine controls on mineralization and model structures, lithologies, and complex ore bodies in 3D to be used in mineral estimation. Interpret structures from regional geophysical datasets (mag, gravity, IP, etc.). Work through all Maaden exploration camps and assist / mentor all geologists in the field.
