Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard our organization’s systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security infrastructure, detecting vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and implementing best practices to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor networks, servers, and applications for unusual activity, potential intrusions, and security breaches.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses to identify weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security tools, firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS), and endpoint protection.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents by conducting investigations, containing threats, and coordinating recovery efforts.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, trends, and technologies to proactively enhance defenses.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security into systems, applications, and business processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Seniority level
