Network Security Engineer L2

The L2 Network Security Engineer is responsible for operating, supporting, and maintaining network security infrastructure. This role involves implementing security controls, handling L2 incidents, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

Responsibilities

• Operate network security solutions to maintain stability and ensure high availability.
• Ensure the effectiveness of network security solutions across all environments.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for network security components. Ensure adherence to SLAs for network security support across departments and projects.
• Provide Level 2 security support for the company's operations, maintenance, and managed services projects.
• Monitor and respond to network security incidents, escalating complex cases to L3.
• Troubleshoot security issues and work towards permanent resolution.
• Process network security support tickets for internal teams and projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory security controls and company policies.
• Maintain and review network security logs regularly to detect anomalies.
• Follow and implement best practices for security operations and processes.
• Execute specific projects / tasks assigned by management from time to time as per business needs, within the allocated time frame.
