Job Summary To be responsible for the delivery of services to guests within Front Office areas in a friendly and courteous manner. Performs efficiently, courteously, and professionally, always maintains a high standard of service and hospitality and provides guest services, handles the setup of daily reservations and check-in and check-out guests.
Responsibilities
Have knowledge of the operational systems at Front Office.
Have knowledge of Shangri-La’s standard operating policies and procedures.
Be well versed with the daily arrival and the type of arrival guests (e.g., returning guests, Shangri-La Circle, VIP).
Ensure all amenities are in room prior to guest arrival.
Assist in solving guest problems and concerns, and strive to exceed guest expectations.
Respond to inquiries regarding hotel facilities and room features.
Provide courteous service and respond promptly to guest requests and complaints.
Process all guest registrations promptly and efficiently.
Stay up to date on room rates and package discounts in coordination with other departments.
What We Are Looking For
At least 1 year working experience in hotel operations.
Ability to work long hours and shifts.
Fluent in English (and Arabic).
Pleasant, friendly, and cheerful attitude.
