Cost Engineer

We are looking for a Cost Engineer with experience of more than 16 years.

Responsibilities

Preparing project cost estimates at various stages.

Preparing and analyzing budgets and detailed work estimates.

Monitoring actual costs against approved budgets and identifying variances.

Preparing periodic cost reports and recommendations for management.

Reviewing and calculating quantity takeoffs from drawings.

Analyzing bids and contracts and evaluating prices submitted by contractors and suppliers.

Requirements

Practical experience in cost estimation or project cost management.

Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and estimation.

Good proficiency in cost management software such as CostOS, Candy, and Excel.

Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD is preferred.

Good understanding of project management practices and standards.

Fluency in English (reading and writing).
