People & Culture Business Partner will support the operations of ALEC Saudi and its Related Businesses by looking after the staff in the business. To create and execute strategic and operational tasks related to the overall running of the People & Culture function in KSA for the ALEC Group and its Staff. Responsibilities
Support the Head of People & Culture in the planning, development and implementation of strategies for People and Culture (KSA) as well as the management and development of staff and functions of the business including, recruitment and selection policy / practices, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions of employment, contracts, training and development, succession planning, morale and motivation, company culture, performance appraisals, and quality management issues as and when required. Plan, develop and implement strategy to meet Saudization requirements that allows ALEC to procure IQAMAs for all employees and not rely on external agency support for IQAMAs. Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of People and Culture development, goals and objectives. Monitor, measure and report on People & Culture issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales. Lead, support and develop direct reporting staff. Manage and support Department Heads and Line Managers in all Employee Relations matters, provide accurate guidance on how matters should be handled in line with the labour law. Ensure employee welfare and wellbeing is a top priority and employees of ALEC KSA are working in conditions that support this objective. Immediately report and support in managing activities where working conditions can be improved. Liaise with other functional / departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of People & Culture administration and development, and to ensure they are fully informed of People & Culture objectives, purposes and achievements. Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary People and Culture development theory and methods, and provide suitable interpretation to Directors, managers and staff within the organization. Ensure all People & Culture policies, procedures and processes are continuously updated and aligned to the Labor Law within KSA. Together with the People & Culture Team carry out and measure effectiveness of engagement activities that further promote the culture of ALEC. Conduct Site Visits to all Projects within KSA and ensure support is provided to members of the team on site. Provide timely feedback on all queries raised and ensure further support is provided where required. Work with the management team, build and foster a culture of employee engagement and integrity to reinforce the organization’s business strategies and culture for continuous growth and improvement. Ensure a positive and supportive working environment is created and maintained within the KSA business and identify and communicate any areas of concern. Be solution driven in all areas of work. Monitor the overall mobilization process for KSA and ensure staff joining ALEC KSA have a positive welcome experience. Monitor and support project leads with the staff planner, monitoring and advising on overall manpower mobilization and demobilization requirements. Carry out any additional duties as requested by the Head of People & Culture, KSA and the Country Manager, KSA. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources / organizational Behavior / Psychology / or equivalent experience. At least a minimum of 10 years’ experience in similar roles Knowledge of staff and labor category workforce Knowledge of the KSA Labor Law Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to multi-task and work under pressure The ability to work as part of a team The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail Seniority level
