Operational Direction Estimate, monitor, and control project costs to ensure that the project stays within the allocated budget, identifying and addressing cost overruns and potential issues. Extract quantities from construction drawings provided for implementation with limited oversight to determine how much material, labor, and other resources are required, and this information is essential for accurate cost estimation. Assess differences and conduct rudimentary pricing analysis on them to determine the cost implications and make informed decisions regarding construction projects or material procurement. Gather and assemble all the necessary documentation for changes or modifications by meticulously organizing and cataloging the relevant materials to facilitate a streamlined and efficient process. Assess the advancements within the domain through evaluating developments within the field to assist SQS in getting ready for the IPA. Collaborate with project teams to prepare accurate and comprehensive budgets, taking into account all relevant factors such as materials, labor, equipment, contingencies, and contractual obligations. Estimate the costs of various project components, including materials, labor, and subcontractor services for budgeting and cost control throughout the project. Cost Management & Procurement Prepare tender documents, including bills of quantities, and evaluate bids from contractors and suppliers to identify the quantities and costs of materials, labor, and other resources required. Assist in selecting cost-effective procurement strategies and subcontractors in order to minimize expenses and maximize value for money. Manage construction contracts, ensuring that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations by handling variations, claims, and disputes, helping to resolve issues and mitigate potential cost impacts. Seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality by proposing alternative materials, construction methods, or design changes that provide value to the project. Assess and manage financial risks associated with construction projects through anticipating potential cost risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Provide regular cost reports and financial progress updates to project stakeholders, keeping them informed about the project\'s financial status and any deviations from the budget. Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions, contracts, project documents, and correspondence related to costs and contracts. Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations, codes, and standards, as well as contractual and legal requirements so that all aspects of a construction project adhere to these requirements, helping to avoid legal issues and potential fines. Assist in resolving disputes that may arise during the course of construction projects, providing expertise in cost-related matters and helping to negotiate settlements. Bachelors in Engineering, or any other related field. Experience
0-4 years’ related experience in roles within similar positions. Languages
