The Operations Support Engineer is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Operations Support Engineer identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, and provides technical assistance.
- Ten plus years of experience with surface wellhead.
- Strong working knowledge of API 6A requirements.
- Experience in design, new manufacturing support, after market repair support and operations support. Operations support to involve extensive time in the field supporting wellhead equipment installation and trouble shooting.
- Experience in performing root cause analysis for field installation / equipment failures.
- Experience working in highly demanding environments with many tasks and short time for completion.
- Experience working in a lead role overseeing workload management, mentoring, and team building.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to be able to work with engineers in other locations, field service technicians, customer stake holders, and internal stake holders.
- Ability to work with very challenging / demanding customers. Ability to stay calm and collected and when necessary, de-escalate tense situations. Ability to defend position when challenged.
- Ability to work with various nationalities and working styles.
