DEVOPS CLOUD ENGINEER - GCP

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with hands‑on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring system scalability and reliability, and collaborating with development teams to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Develop and manage CI / CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and optimize system architecture.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and maintenance using tools such as Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across all cloud environments.

Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE).

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning.

Maintain detailed documentation of architecture and operational processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL and GKE.

Proficiency in CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or CircleCI.

Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Kubernetes.

Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Shell.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer certification.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK stack.

Knowledge of networking and security within cloud environments.

Experience with microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.
