Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Lighting Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in lighting systems and a proven track record in sales. As a Lighting Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing technical expertise and support to customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities within designated territory or market segment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients, including conducting product demonstrations, presenting technical specifications, and recommending solutions to meet their lighting needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure alignment with customer requirements and market demands.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions of sale to achieve mutually beneficial agreements and maximize revenue.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business expansion and growth.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives as set by management, consistently striving for excellence in performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in lighting sales or a similar technical sales role.Strong technical understanding of lighting systems, including LED technology, controls, and applications.Proven track record of success in sales, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets and drive revenue growth.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving business success and exceeding customer expectations.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.Working Conditions
