We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Security Systems Engineer

to support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced electronic security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in operating systems, databases, networking, and virtualization, with an added advantage for experience in security systems software and integration.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain security system servers and applications (VMS, access control, intrusion detection, etc.). Support and troubleshoot systems running on Windows Server OS, MS SQL, and VMware or Hyper-V platforms. Design and implement network configurations, ensuring secure and reliable system communication. Configure and support Microsoft Failover Clustering for high availability environments. Collaborate with project and support teams to deploy and integrate security systems in client environments. Perform system diagnostics and resolve issues related to software, database, or network connectivity. Ensure proper system documentation, backup, and disaster recovery procedures. Coordinate with vendors for advanced support and updates to security platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems engineering roles. Strong experience with : Windows Server OS MS SQL Server Virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) Networking concepts (TCP / IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls) Microsoft Cluster Services (Failover Clustering) Familiarity with security systems software (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, Lenel, Avigilon) is a plus. Certifications such as MCSA, VMware VCP, or CCNA are advantageous. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
