Key Responsibilities

Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, analyzing their medical histories and conducting physical exams
Ordering and interpreting necessary diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms and cardiac catheterizations
Diagnosing and formulating individualized treatment plans for various cardiovascular conditions
Performing complex surgical procedures, such as coronary artery bypass grafts and heart valve repairs
Providing comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring optimal recovery for patients
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes
Participating in ongoing education and research to keep abreast of new advancements in cardiovascular surgery

Qualifications

Medical degree (MD) with completion of a residency in cardiovascular surgery

Active medical license in the relevant jurisdiction

Extensive experience in cardiovascular surgery with proficiency in complex surgical procedures

Strong analytical skills and ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams
