Overview : The

Turnaround Planning Sr. Supervisor

is responsible for leading and coordinating the planning, scheduling, and execution support for plant turnarounds (TAs) and shutdowns. This includes the management of multidisciplinary planning teams, scope development, work package preparation, materials and resource planning, and coordination with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE and Procurement departments. The role ensures turnarounds are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and with the desired quality. Responsibilities : Develop overall turnaround (TA) planning strategy, work breakdown structure (WBS), and milestones. Lead the development of the turnaround work scope, resource requirements, cost estimates, and strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders. Oversee the creation and optimization of detailed turnaround schedules. Supervise the development of job plans and work packages (including labour, materials, tools, and services). Ensure scope freeze, change control, and scope optimization processes are strictly followed. Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and procurement to align turnaround goals. Ensure the timely procurement and availability of materials, spare parts, and contracted services. Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to mitigate supply chain risks. Assist in the development of detailed turnaround budgets. Monitor planning-related costs and ensure alignment with cost-control measures. Provide forecasts and reports on planning progress and resource needs. Utilize CMMS-Computerized Maintenance Management System (e.g., SAP) and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) for planning and tracking. Lead planning data audits, validation, and reporting to support decision-making. Ensure all planned work aligns with safety and environmental regulations. Support the development of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Method Statements, and Permits. Participate in HAZOPs (Hazard and Operability), risk assessments, and readiness reviews. Seniority level
