Whether managing multi-million-riyal transmission projects or supporting the engineering execution of substations, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the Kingdom’s critical infrastructure while working with cutting-edge technology in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the execution of HV / EHV projects by reviewing engineering drawings, technical submittals, and installation procedures.
  • Supervising site activities related to electrical works, including switchgear installation, cable pulling, terminations, and equipment mounting.
  • Coordinating with vendors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth installation and commissioning phases.
  • Assisting in preparing RFIs, method statements, as-built drawings, and material submittals.
  • Monitoring on-site compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.
  • Participating in FAT, SAT, and on-site testing procedures for equipment like transformers, GIS, and protection relays.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues during installation and collaborate with design and commissioning teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–6 years of site-based experience in HV / EHV transmission or substation projects.
  • Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems such as switchgear, protection panels, cabling systems, and grounding.
  • Familiar with SLDs, panel layouts, termination schedules, and technical documentation.
  • Good understanding of electrical testing protocols and commissioning support.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure on fast-paced project sites.
