Location : Movenpick Hotel Abraj Al Bait Makkah

Position Summary :

The Material Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects related to the procurement storage inventory control and distribution of materials and supplies across the hotel. This role ensures that all purchasing and receiving activities are conducted in line with hotel policies financial guidelines and local regulations while maintaining high standards of cost control transparency and supplier relationship management.

This position plays a critical role in supporting operations during the high-demand periods of religious seasons (Hajj Ramadan Umrah) and ensuring timely material availability for all departments.

Key Responsibilities :

Procurement & Purchasing

• Oversee and manage the entire procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance.
• Ensure cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and favorable terms.
• Monitor compliance with the hotels procurement policies and Accor guidelines.
• Coordinate with user departments to ensure timely supply of requested materials.
