Graduate Engineer - Structural - Saudi Arabia (National Hire)

Ramboll is seeking a young Graduate Structural Design Engineer to join our offices in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide structural engineering support on projects across the Middle East. As a Graduate Structural Design Engineer, you will assist in the delivery and coordination of engineering, technical, and client solutions. You will join our Building Department As a Graduate Engineer in Structural Buildings, you will be part of our global High-Rise and Complex Buildings department, which has designed over 200 tall buildings worldwide, including some of the most technically challenging. You will work with engineers in our Dubai office and support our global department with offices in India, the UK, Singapore, and other locations. Key Responsibilities : Utilize new technology initiatives in the structural department, including computational design, parametric modeling, and engineering software integration. Build relationships with internal and external design stakeholders. Follow company procedures and implement prescribed systems of work. Participate in the company's training scheme for personal development and future progression. Contribute to developing company systems by reviewing procedures and providing feedback. Participate in task groups representing your team. Attend team meetings and provide feedback on development. Apply policies related to health & safety, quality, and training. Develop and produce drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports. Understand design philosophy and fundamentals. Familiarize with architect and service engineer drawings and specifications. Dubai Municipality accreditation would be advantageous. A graduate engineer should have good knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment, claims, CAD standards, and 3D working. Technical Skills / Abilities : Ability to learn and collaborate with other design teams. Proficiency in new technology initiatives, including computational design and parametric modeling. Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage workload. Strong analytical skills. Common sense and a positive, professional attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Business and commercial awareness. Clear communication skills, both written and oral. Integrity and professionalism, including handling confidential information.
