The Retail Operations Lead is responsible for optimizing the efficiency of the stockroom team, operational processes, and selling areas to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and enhance stockroom processes to ensure proper item display, efficient storage, optimized productivity, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular field visits to ensure store employees are adhering to Azadea policies and procedures. Provide necessary support to team members and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Oversee and streamline the shipment receiving process to ensure shop readiness and availability of items, thereby enhancing the customer experience.
- Maintain product availability by regularly replenishing stocks, facilitating internal transfers, and implementing rotation strategies.
- Follow up on the stock budget to ensure timely delivery on key metrics including store sales, store productivity, stock loss, and operating margin.
- Control the stores' expenditures on P&L, validate monthly bookings, and report if budget was exceeded, including reviewing quotations to optimize the budget effectively.
- Exercise control over shop inventory, establish stocking levels, monitor supply, and manage material disbursements to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Manage, develop, and motivate the operations team, emphasizing the importance of adhering to and implementing operational procedures.
- Supervise and control the allocation of manpower hours in stockrooms by aligning stock‑keepers' schedules with shipment deliveries and store sales. Coordinate with the commercial and visual teams to optimize store manpower utilization, oversee working hours, and implement established standards.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.
Qualifications
