The Nursing Director will be responsible for developing nursing policies and procedures that align with current standards of nursing practice and operational policies, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. They will oversee compliance with CBAHI standards and other regulations, communicate policies effectively to nursing staff, and monitor staff practices. Key responsibilities include evaluating nursing personnel performance, collaborating with physicians and community agencies to improve service quality, participating in departmental budget development, and overseeing nursing schedules to meet resident needs and regulatory standards. The role involves supervising in-service education, participating in management meetings, monitoring infection control programs, and supervising nursing staff to ensure quality care and proper facility maintenance. The Nursing Director will assist in preparing staff for inspections, promote safety procedures, and monitor incidents and complaints for prompt action. Qualifications required are a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with a Master’s degree preferred, current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and at least 5 years of managerial experience.
