Responsibilities
Prepare and design electrical layouts for projects (lighting, power, low voltage systems, etc.). Review and analyze electrical drawings for technical accuracy and Civil Defense compliance. Supervise electrical installations and ensure timely, high-quality execution. Implement and execute Civil Defense requirements for electrical systems (fire alarm, evacuation systems, safe wiring, etc.). Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure project integration. Prepare technical specifications and bill of quantities. Test and inspect installed systems, especially life safety and emergency systems. Submit regular reports and technical documentation to management. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local Civil Defense regulations. Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. Minimum of 8 years of experience,
with proven knowledge and hands-on experience in projects requiring
Civil Defense
approvals. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Etap, and other design tools. Strong knowledge of international and local electrical codes and Civil Defense regulations (e.g., Saudi Civil Defense, or as per location).
