Purchaser

Overview

Located in the Packers Plus Saudi Arabia manufacturing plant in Dhahran, the Purchaser will support the supply chain team by assisting in sourcing materials and components for production and projects. Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to help ensure timely delivery and smooth order flow. This entry‑level role reports to the Purchasing Specialist and offers opportunities to learn and grow within the purchasing function.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and issuing purchase orders under the guidance of senior team members
• Help collect and compare supplier quotes
• Enter and maintain vendor and item data in the ERP system
• Track and follow up on orders, updating the system with any changes
• Support the team in expediting and resolving order issues
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors to ensure accurate information flow
• Begin developing knowledge of supplier capabilities
• Assist in fulfilling orders for secondary processes as required
• Learn the backup responsibilities of the Purchasing Supervisor
